The core objective of the association is to represent the public policy and regulatory interests of manufacturers and importer/distributors of homeopathic medicines in Canada. In support of this objective, the CHPA/APHC conducts its activities to:

- To promote high manufacturing standards for homeopathic medicines
- To enhance the recognition of homeopathic medicines within the academic and scientific communities and in so doing, contribute to the acceptance and use of homeopathic medicines in the Canadian health care delivery system.
- To cooperate with scientific, health professionals and other organizations holding an interest in the recognition and use of homeopathic medicines
- To promote the activities of the association through individual involvement and interest of members
- To ensure that the homeopathic medicine industry's interests are understood and respected in the development of public policy and regulation at the federal and provincial levels of government.
